I have seen someone trying to get donations for a roadside banner that would be utilized near the stadiums where the soccer would

be played, but I have not seen any photos of it yet, so I presume that did not happen.    The online Sport betting sites might get

some more bets on the outcome of the world cup and that might generate some more demand, if people want to bet on these sites

with bitcoins.    Other than this, I cannot see why the price would increase.
