It's the speed, some ICOs like Sparkster are promising 1 million TPS. ETH based coins are kinda good, Liven is a good example they have an already established audience and just need a token to play it.
All they need is to get them on board and make them use their token, doesn't matter if they are ERC20 token they can totally pull it off with the plans they are offering.
