I think the ether is better, because what ?? although the price is down but not drastic, unlike the alts whose price can be up to 0 very quickly
Because the ethereum has used by almost all kinds of altcoin. it looks like very similar to the bitcoin and this time it has been getting another decrease but it's just try to correcting the price of ethereum to be similar as bitcoin price. But altcoin just like EOS and any other coin get dumped a lot. Ether should always become the best choice to store our value.
ethereum always follows bitcoin, and i think eth is the main choice, it can be seen from many ico who entrust payment with eth. so I'm sure later eth will rise by itself
