There are no explanations in this thread showing why god needs to be a cruel asshole. You just have no reasonable answer for it.
God isn't a cruel asshole. God is love. After all, you can't even take it when I contradict you a little. But God loves you so much that He lets you contradict Him all over the place, with the out-of-love hopes that you will be saved rather than destroy yourself. And He certainly doesn't destroy as you so deserve, since He is able to easily do that.
