Well, that's what I want to find out too, that's why I asked for some sourcecode.
EQ supposedly is some kind of "fix" that will help create more incentives for miners to mine QRK (and therefore secure transactions) after we leave the 6month initial mining period, and enter the 0.5% per year mining period.

If that is something new that will be added soon... I ask myself what is this that we have now??
How is the issuing of 1 million coins per year controlled at the moment, and how will it change once the EQ-Fix will be applied?
Will the EQ-Fix simply add more money per year for the miners? Is that what I am reading between the lines?
The miners have only one incentive: making money, and securing the money they already have.
