The project you have started seems to be a nice one, but you have one major flaw - the ticker.
granite has been around for about 5 YEARS now and we (ChainWorks Industries Pty Ltd) have had the project as one of our projects in our arsenal of coins.
I kindly suggest that you look at using a different ticker, and also kindly suggest that you do a little bit of research with regards to the use of existing tickers and names as well. As you have already settled on the name, please refrain the use of the GRN ticker, as it has been the ticker for 'GraniteCoin' when it first came out and 'granite' since development continued. We have the rights to this, and would appreciate you change it promptly with a cease and desist request.
We ask this respectfully, and would like to take this no further than this. Please do not disregard this request as it would not lead to any useful outcome.

Hello, chrysophylax. We respect your ask about ticker name. Unfortunately GRN is not a ticker, but abbreviation from Green colour, that contain only consonant letters. According to the fact that you have previously used a ticker for more than 5 years, we respect your right to use GRN as a ticker where your company prefer, including coinmarketcap and cryptopia exchange.

So you use the word 'respect' many times over in your response, yet proceed with the presence you have, showing nothing less than DISrespect for veterans and long term CryptoIndustry providers and Consumers like us.
This shows only two things here ...
1 - the GRN ticker (no matter what you wish to call it - it IS a ticker) belongs to granite (GRN) and has done so for the last 5YEARS!
2 - the LACK of respect that you have deems this project to doom, no matter how talented your 'team' is, because if you cannot respect the veterans of this community, then you cannot respect the CryptoCommunity itself, let alone think up of your OWN ticker symbol for your coin. Seriously? You need to copy ours?
You seem to have some form of intelligence and coding prowess, but almost no respect when it comes to building a project that is UNIQUE and NOT based on someone elses base work - like using OUR ticker for granite. So we will see what comes of this, and becomes of you, as the pools and those that support you, also show the same malice towards the disrespect you show to us AND to the community at large because you cannot seem to com up with your OWN ticker. What is actually amazing is that ANYONE that follow you and are informed of this malicious practice of yours, are also going to be burned by the course of action you are taking.
Instead of working together, you have now made sure we are working against each other.
Thanks for making that crystal clear. I personally shall not forget this and will continue to work against all you are doing with the use of 'GRN', a ticker and code that we have been establishing and using for the last 5 years. Simply be original and STOP using our ticker. How hard can that be for you?
