I know people who sold they houses to play on forex. It's nothing new in general but in crypto is way more hyped and the bleeding edge tech is complicated. And there are a lot of things, way more than just investing. One can mine, participate in ICOs or bounty. And it's a gold mine for all sort of scammers, unfortunately.
