It's unrealistic to state though that this is special to crypto. It's everywhere. People sell boxes with stones in their on eBay. Scammers will be around anywhere.
And that's why we need some kind of regulations in that ICO field, this kind of state is not doable in the long run, if people continue to lose money on scams then we cannot expect for crypto to be adapted on scale we wanted to be.
Regulation or education. People who make mistakes will be more careful next time. It's a kind of self-regulation so to say. Problem is that newcomers will most likely fall victim when they do their first steps into the crypto world.
