SportsPodium is a transparent, blockchain-based sports community that will enable a new economy by unlocking undervalued and un-monetized aspects in sports utilising the power of blockchain technology.
With our unique reputation algorithms, SportsPodium is creating the world’s largest, completely transparent, sports information database. It will make fairness, merit and equal opportunity the benchmark for competition as well as reward and will create an open and engaging platform for sports lovers all over the globe to share in the excitement of sports and fitness.
Sports participants will be rewarded with PODs for their data that they contribute to the blockchain. The blockchain will benefit from this data by providing data centric services such as targeted advertising and talent identification.
SportsPodium has an inclusive model and we partner with existing sports application providers.  We provide these providers with the value of rewarding their user bases with POD tokens in return for access to their sports data and information. We are also partnering with various sports equipment providers and online shops that will accept PODs as payment for their goods and services.
Late last year we announced the SportsPodium project with our POD token. But in order to place ourselves in a more prepared position - and protect our investors, we decided to forego our ICO at that time and raised only enough start up cash to build our team and initial tools and to prove our SportsPodium concept in the real world for our first sport: Golf.
