Same as my country. Not that we're lacking manpower but rather we're lacking of great workers and hence the economy has become rather poor. The payrate here is not that good and those people that have enough skill, money, and guts to be on the other side of the globe work abroad. They are encouragin these skilled workers to stay in our country and be patriotic. On the other hand, being patriotic doesn't really feed your children, right? So people still choose to be practical and work abroad. There are tons of songs dedicated to kids never having to see their parents in Christmas and other important life events because they do work abroad and it's all sad. But a parent has to do what they have to do especially when you want a good life for your kids and you can't have that when you live in a country with a bad economy.
