i think bitcoin is still strongest, at least for now. but does not mean ethereum can't reach the top, ethereum is really been a real competitor for bitcoin. as we know ethereum already more popular than 1-2 last year. perhaps etehreum can beat bitcoin if their platform always developed like now.
