You picked the right project! We're very excited about Bolt and the economy it will soon foster. Bolt came from a very simple consideration: How can we solve the governance and ecosystem issues with Bitcoin? This led to a reflection on the current state of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, with its bloated transaction speeds, high costs, and security issues. Why build an economy for Producers? We believe the best way to encourage people to adopt a cryptocurrency is to get people making real products. The unique makeup of Bolt, being PoS but still minable through the interaction of Producers and Miners, is the perfect means by which to build a usable, community-engaged economy piece by piece.
