The price is still decreasing despite the apparently good news that mtgox does not necessarily need to sell their coins to give compensation to their users and they can give compensation in bitcoin, after that news I would have expected the price of bitcoin to go up but it seems the price is still going down and I will be lying if I said I understood exactly why that is the case.
