The first mention of the signature campaign:

June 12, 2011,[BCT] First signature campaign.

One of the oldest and longest The first mention of the  signature campaign started on September 10, 2013. And only the Bitcointalk staff could participate in it. Payment was small.

PrimeDice was only limited to Staff at the end of the campaign when it was winding down. At first it was open to everyone. I don't believe they were the first either, but probably the one who popularised it and was certainly one of the longest running. They were also the first campaign I saw on the forum and also joined.

Russian thread about the bounty started on June 9, 2015. You can see below the first message (post #16) about campaigns in the thread.

But on the English board, the same thread was created on May 19, 2014.

Bounties

It needs to say that in the early years of this forum the definition of "bounty" was somewhat different than it is now. It was a reward in the BTC, that people offered for doing different jobs.
The first topic about the bounty is Bitcoin Security Bounty 07/21/2010

There was a suggestion that it is desirable: "offer bounty (reward) to security researchers to improve the security and decentralization of the bitcoins network and software."

But a reward was offered earlier. For example in this message in which the user wanted to receive commercial tools. It is a message from an anonymous user who could write on the forum without registering.

This is great.I offered a bounty in another thread to get merchant tools coded but it seems like you are off and running with this effort.I hope everyone sends some coins in appreciation.  Smiley.

Afterward, we shall begin posting Bitcoin GALORE picture whenever a breakout occurs.

The moderator of the Russian thread LZ also offered the additional reward:

+20 BTC if it will be original and under Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike license.

November 17, 2010

In the thread More forum sections needed? for the first time sounded a proposal from sirius to create a separate section for the bounty campaigns.

Should we have a "Project development" section where you can talk about organization, bounty campaigns, advertising etc.? Any other name ideas? "Workshop" or "Project organization"?

Hi everyone,
At the moment I have about 5 projects all running at the same time and I just do not have the time to do this part of the BBQcoin project.
I am offering a 25,000 BBQcoin bounty for the first person who can compile a working BQC Windows GUI Client, with the included graphical changes, using the files provided here.
Link to the files : https://github.com/overware/BBQCoin
Please do not post the link to the completed Windows QT Client on here but PM me the download link instead.
This is so that myself and the rest of the Dev team and begin beta testing.
The person that provides this will also get a mention on the BBqcoin.org website for you contribution.
A confirmation thread of payment will be created once this work has been completed.
Thanks.
