I prefer the hodl method, although that has hurt me very much lately. Day trading does seem like the better route overall, but if requires much more skill and dedication.
HODL method is more like the lazy man's method and truly the easiest for anyone who does not like market noise. Obviously, we cannot all be traders for reasons best known to us, but we can at least all be investors looking forward to the future of our holdings irrespective of what the present condition looks like.
Day trading is even a lot more risky than normal trading which to me is far from it, as you are more like the noise of the market and comes with a lot of risk. Mixed of both day trading when the fluctuation are predictable and always holding some bitcoin is the formula, I am following right now.
