It will be harder and harder by the time goes. That's what happens when you remove the supply cap. It is easy to spend/sent doge but it is also much much much harder to give it value against the other deflationary currencies. (like btc)

a-You can create a currency which is easy to spend and cheap to send but has no value or,
b-You can create a currency which gains value over time due to its limited supply but also has high fees.

While bitcoin tries to get the best features from both (low fees, higher value over time), the others usually choose either option a or option b simply because they don't know any other way.
