This project has been in the works for more than 1 year. We began talking with our provider summer of last year in the midst of all the Bitcoin debit card issues that people were experiencing.

I myself use to have a coinsbank card until the services ended for north american customers.  With that, we made sure we had a full scope of the issues in the space with crypto oriented debit cards. And you are correct that a supporting bank (banks in our scenario) needs to be involved. So yes we have a few supporting banks that we are working with and they are very crypto friendly.

We will have more than 1000 cards. Our hope is to acquire every TenX, Hashcard and other debit card customer that still do not have access to a working product. These first 1000 are simply to get the ball rolling. When i say we have a working product i mean exactly that! At this time the mobile application is still under development as are some of the additional features but we do have about 100 cards out right now being used as temporary cards for the holders. They also provide us feedback with any issues we may be experiencing. The cards we have right now are a generic Mastercard. So yes, we can and are currently putting out cards in Canada, the Toronto area.

Once our pre orders launch which is expected this week. Those 1000 cards sold will be delivered at earliest the end of July but most likely mid August. And if there are any delays we will simply ship customers our generic branded cards as temporary, but they would not yet be personalized. This is our plan b. Best thing about the plan b is that we are using it now and it works!
