It's really a bummer. Since you've mined 44,000 blocks for about 20 million coins it will take us, the miners at large, many many more blocks to earn the same amount.
So what is the emission curve then? Because if I used the first info you provided of the reward halving ever 11,000 blocks then we'd almost never be able to mine another 20 million coins. Hell the Python float gives out by the time we hit 2 million coins mined.
If the block reward stayed at 150 then we would still have to wait till 177,334 in block height before mining another 20 million coins.
133,334 blocks to mine what was y'all mined in just 44,000 blocks but split across all the miners. At a 90 second block time that will take about 140 days to reach what was mined before your announcement in just 45 days.
Yeah that sucks a little but it is your coin. I hope I'm wrong on all this.
