Forget me for my noobness but how exactly do I compile a wallet from source files?
Hai - you don't need to - go to https://github.com/kittehcoin/kittehcoin
look for a folder called release. Click on that mofo
Look for a folder that matches your OS. Click it - click it real good.
Download all files therein, store them in a single folder on your computer. Double-click kittehcoin-qt.exe (I'm going out on a limb and assuming you're on Windows.. if you're not, my apologies)
Post back if you still can't get up and running.

.Tried it that way and it won't let me download it. Had to download the master (just download ZIP on the right in the link) then navigate to kittehcoin-qt in it.I mined on cipherpool. Even if it reports the hashrate wrong, you get lots of coins (probably correct amount).
