The will to quit gambling is always being beaten by addiction. No matter how you wanted to quit in gambling, if you really get addicted, you will return even if you have stopped for how many days, weeks, months, years. There is a time that you will go back to your habit.
If the person who is gambler and wants to leave gambling for good, he himself would start hating gambling by his heart after that he would be able to leave gambling because he is the person who is addicted and he wants a cure and as it is a common sense thing that if the patient would like to be cured, only then he would be cured and beside this, nothing else can be done.
Anyone who is addicted to gambling already hates gambling and it's obviously because they haven't been able to make any profit so they start hating it and get addicted because they want to make profit gambling. There isn't any particular way to quit gambling it differs from person to person

Plenty of people recognise that they hate gambling, or at least they hate what gambling has done to their lives or their loved ones (in the case of problem gamblers). However, just because they recognise something is bad for them, doesn't mean that they have the power, or the knowledge to stop the negative behaviour. Just like a drug addict knows a drug is damaging them, and yet continue despite this fact.
