I have been hanging around here for a year now and a year ago older french members were already complaining about the situation.
Nothing's changed in a year. So don't talk about respect and politeness.
If you don't mind me asking: how many posts did you report?
The last theymos checked within the french local board there were only 6 reporters within the last 90 days, and these were very low reports counts too. Whether, that's improved or not I don't know. Yes, you found Theymos' last intervention regarding the "french problem". And if you look at the rest of the topic, you can see that I request updates.
I started reporting since that day. Here are my stats to date: 438 posts with 99% accuracy (215 good, 3 bad, 220 unhandled)
But Theymos is burying his head in the sand like an ostrich.
Some other french members have stopped reporting because nothing move...

And even one french member did not hesitate to red trust Theymos.

I recently learned that mods are "paid". I hope our mod doesn't get any more satoshi. Maybe this will change things.
