Funny scenario but that is possible, and if that happens to me, I'll definitely stop playing, I'll choose to go home being a loser instead of losing everything to the point that I am not able to go home.
Very little people may have the ability to stop playing gambling, specially if he is making money from gambling, because he want to make more and more money and therefore he want to continue it for a long time, to me i personal have good experience of that, for some many times i tried my self to stop playing gambling but could not succeeded.
But with op's certain scenario, you would think twice if you'll continue or stop, stop for that session but not to stop gambling for good.

I just hope most of the gambler thinks the way you do because mostly tend to go all in specially when they already lost so much thinking that they can still win. They end up empty handed and then
just owe their friends money for them to go home.
Lucky are the gamblers who have friends to ask/owe when they're needed. If you'll think of that, that's actually another loss. So better stop and go home.
