It's hard on the newbies, they're less knowledgeable, and they need merit to rank up.

yes it is "tough" for a person who is new to get ranked up. But ranking up is not your main concern here. The main concern of newbies should be learning how bitcoin works and about the forum. Get to know diffirent sections of teh forum and not just linger in the "Bounties" section for whoring every single new project that comes up.

But some need a certain amount of posts to join campaigns.
Stop complaining about campaigns if you have nothing else to do in life.
