Some airdrops require personal info from their users like government approved ID proof, a selfie with it, contact number, email, address etc. Does this information really required? How to know if somebody is scamming you for asking this kind of information?

If you have fund over the 1000 USD on coinbase wallet means it will ask you to verify the documents and self photo of yours to make the transaction to any wallet mate.
Then you need to verify the documents for most of the airdrops. Still I am not sure what is the reason for sharing the kyc details mate.
