I'm also a Filipino, but no offense, I agree with Coolcryptovator this time because I see his point. For me there's nothing wrong for giving merits to someone who agreed on your opinion or someone who complemented you but since you are now applying to become a merit source then be ready for the changes (if ever you will be accepted). As a future merit source, much better if you will now practice better judgement and being more careful in weighing of post quality. Sir don't get me wrong, actually I understand that you only want to show appreciation for those good respondents but if you insist to continue this then mods or other members of this forum (especailly outside our local board) might have a bad impression to you, might say that you are inefficient or even emotionally-biased merit source; That will be a stain in your good reputation and I'm sure you don't want it to happen, right? Just a reminder, a good merit source always based on the construction and essence of others' post not mainly depends on whether it agrees on his own perspective or not.

Nevertheless, I do support your application believe me or not. Actually, I admire you because you stepped up in order to give recognition for those quality posters in our local board and to give inspiration for others at the same time so good luck to you and I hope you will be accepted .
