In my opinion, bitcoin is still the kinf of cryptocurrency and become a dominant coin to influence market price. If bitcoin price rises, other coin price tend to rise too. Today , btc price is still the most expensive and highest marketcap. This indicates that bitcoin is a price controller among other coins like eth, ripple, bitcoincash,etc. Probably in the coming years, altcoin may grow better and can compete with bitcoin in influencing market price.
