I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?



They think bitcoin to laundry money simply because they are more safe looking at risk taking and they can not control bitcoin, so not all governments accept bitcoin. There's also a lot of negative news about bitcoin maybe it affects their mindset.
I agree with you ... one of the topics in countries about bitcoin that can not be controlled by a bank or government is the issue of money laundering by irresponsible people so that they behave like this is possible by increasing the more strict KYC will make the space of irresponsible person more narrowly will be the solution in the future
