I know all of that, but we need to attract as many developers as we can. When we started twitter buzz and giveaways, number of mails from 3rd parties developers increased a lot! So, of course, we can do nothing like promo and do everything ourselves, but it will be so slow. And yes, miners are interested to sell their coins, but many of them don't want to go to bter. If we are not listening to miners, coin will be vulnerable to attacks and fail.
Yes, but as I said, it's all short time frame, which isn't bad as this is still a very young project. It's not something that could fuel this long term...
BTW. I think you should stress Primecoin heritage more. You know, prime numbers chains and stuff. It's making mining more attractive for folks like me (ahh, I participated in SETI years ago).
