Your analogy, I think is not quite correct. Learning the history and economy is different, they have different subjects to discuss and different methods to learn. I appreciate your spirit and willingness to learn economy, and I don't think learning about the traditional economy is still bad, 'cause the principal still stays the same. Currencies/cryptocurrencies are just a small portion of the economic spaces.
