Any prayer can only be fruitful if it is done in a selfless way. And when money is involved then there is no selfless way. Believing in god is not something that can be forced upon you (and if someone tries to do this its wrong). Everyone has to gain his faith by himself, out of free will.

It does no good if parents force their children to pray or something like that. Also, a prayer can be held everywhere, a prayer is thinking about god and even "talking" to him.
