Thats pretty short term thinkkng in my opinion, bc the broken and stupid ones are going to die first. If you plan on day trading or short term investing, yes, I agree. But for long term, nope.
peercoin and namecoin are both well developed and extremely established projects that introduced great ideas. that puts them leagues ahead of most in terms of overall soundness.
and these days they're nowhere.
ripple is not a cryptocurrency that hasn't achieved anything in nearly 15 years of existence. yet there it is at the top.
not enough people care about whether a project is actually any good. it needs a whiff of mindless hype.
