I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?
Price manipulation towards cryptocurrency is not possible because it was depending on the supply and demand but sometimes there are hackers who can actually change the prices in the market and it affects people's decisions, just like the alleged news were korea hack the live market price and take advantage of the moment.
I have read that bitcoin's price was manipulated at late 2017 with USDT, I don't know should we trust information like that one but it is possible to manipulate every market not just crypto market.
Bitcoin went to $20000 in very short time, and it crashed so fast so market is either manipulated or fomo investors created bubble.
cryptos are always manipulated and it does not only happen on 2017 or any year because manipulation are always happening all the time . and like you said earlier , cryptos arent only the one that is being manipulated because almost all kind of investment there is always a manipulation involved .
so the point is we cannot possibly avoid those manipulation but we can use it as an advantage in order to turn the tides
lets say they manipulate the entire crypto to go down , so the best way to do is to buy at the dip . but if they manipulate the market in an opposite side, then the best thing that you can do is to sell in order to earn a profit .
