I've power enough in my shop to run a few miners. No direct Internet connection but there is a wifi hotspot my laptop/netbook can access. What I'm stuck on it how to add a switch or router to connect a couple miners.
One important point to check is the network times.
I just put in a pair of ubiquti airmax powerbeam-ac (
https://www.ubnt.com/airmax/powerbeam-ac-gen2/) between my house and a shed. It is rated for 24km of distance, so my 300 meters is nothing for it. ping times are pretty much the same in the shed as in my house. Something to consider if you have $120 to spend per dish.
The PowerBeam AC is an excellent product, I use the same for my server room which is about 400 ft. from my house. Ubiquiti also has few cheaper alternatives to this like the NanoBeam AC or the NanoStation AC
