With the big number of bounties turning out as scams or projects running from and never paying bounty participants, I have been choosy when joining in one. Before, I used to check on the project and platform but still fall victim to bounty scams. So, right now the factor that lets me decide on what bounty campaign to join is through the manager running it. I just follow managers that have good track record in paying their bounty participants.
