All coins that exist are trying to compete bitcoin. I expect bitcoin to rule the crypto currency market for at least another five years, like it does at the moment.
I think any crypto available in the market today is a threat to bitcoin eventhough they are far behind in almost all aspect but still we should respect considering its capability because we don't really know what happen in the near future.
