I understand your reservations, but I don't fully agree with it.
The thing is, LPC has great potential with or even without this blockchain conference. Selling your coins now could possibly even put you at more risk because the value of LPC could rise at any moment. By simply holding and buying more, you can rest assured that you will not be left out when the true value of LPC is realized.
All coins in crypto world have to experience dramatic corrections, even top altcoins.
Hence, I believe LPC will have to witness these ones too.
I don't see odds that LPC can be only exception of the common rules.
I'm not saying that LPC is an exception to the "common" rules. However, a good practice is to think out of the box and not always be limited by it. If you think out of the box you open yourself to opportunities that could never happen otherwise. Just look at those early adopters of BTC, they dared to invest in something that had no value. Look at them now (billionaires).
LPC has potential and merit. It's up to you to invest or not.
