Well, I don't know... Markets behave quite irrationally from time to time. There's a good chance that SUMO just faded away like other projects. This whole mess kept them in focus, which actually might have been a good thing. I've seen this happening with XVG. It was under attack (this was before they switched to multialgo), but the price was steady, even went up a bit.
