I think it's crazy a lot ppl here are all for asic look at the a3 it's now negative so it's proven again unless you are a first batch buyer or big miner with connections you will loose money you can't even roi without having to buy a bigger asic to keep up is this a problem with gpus only depends on what u mine but it's ok everyone keep throwing your money at bitmain and support asic but kill crypto mining
I think if you took the plunge and managed to get the miner for $800, then you will most likely ROI.
Since this ASIC was released the difficulty hardly climbed that much. Back then people were assuming we would get crazy jumps in difficulty and most were scared to make the purchase.
Also there was the fact that ETH might fork to a different algo which scared off a few people.
