Why do you think people have suicidal thoughts? Is it reasonable to result to potentially killing oneself to be able to remove the pain a person is suffering from? What are your thoughts about this matter, is it acceptable or not? Why does a person result to thinking of suicide? How can you help the person to change His/Her mind?
The very 1st Reason why people commit suicide is..that they have no intimate relationship with GOD! because if they did, they will be afraid of taking their own lives, because they know that its a SIN!
2nd reason is Anxiety ... if you don't have constant communication with the Lord, you mind will be filled with worldly things, disappointments, and then eventually you will feel emptiness in your heart and not having purpose in life!
3rd Reason is Depression! If you don't have God in your Life you feel that struggles and challenges in Life are cannot be resolve and you will be staying down! You will feel that you are unwanted, unloved and all the negativity will comes in your mind! that will lead you to commit suicide!
