This thread isn't managed by any NANO official representative, and the one who created this thread hasn't been online for quite a while. I'm thinking of creating a new ANNouncement page for NANO myself, and ask the moderators to lock this one.

Your idea in my opinion is very good, because by changing the name of the thread to Nano will make a lot of new people know about Nano coins. I hope the dev team will support your idea
It doesn't matter whether team made the ann or not. whoever made it, should have at least that much responsibility to follow his own thread. Rebranding was few months ago and we still see raiblocks.

I've contacted mprep (moderator of Altcoins Announcements) regarding this and have asked him to close this thread so that I may create a new one. I'll try to keep it alive & updated, unlike this one.

that's what I'm talking about. This should be officially approved and announced. And the new moderator should be added to the community staff.

Yes that is the problem and concern of most of us. The moderator of the thread has a lot of power to spread misinformation or FUD therefore no other than a main dev or someone trustworthy should start and moderate the project
I don't doubt this was an attempt to improve Nano presence on the forum and to support it but of course moderator must be responsible for for the information he spreads and be officially announced.
