Honest advice:- Convert into fiat currency and make bank. Currently, the market is going down the drain and it will continue doing so in the future. Hence mitigate your risks, be smart and convert to fiat as early as possible. Even if the market does go up in one year's time, it would not be worth the risk. You can perhaps keep 1 bitcoin, but rest you should sell as early as possible.
I honestly agree with your suggestion and I believe it is the best thing to do. You can also sell half of it, invest some part of the other half in potential and very good altcoin and then leave the rest for it to continue growing.
