I agree with this.
Democracy is a good thing, but can be taken to ridiculous and dangerous lengths. It has the seeds for it's own destruction in it, in that not all members of a community will act in their own best interests, due to a variety of reasons. (One of the main one's being "Let's see what will happen if I push this GREAT RED BUTTON"
