Maybe VAR refs should just tell the ref what to do and skip the bit where he runs off for 10 minutes to watch a tiny screen.
Such technology become part of the games and whether we like it or not, it is already applied. The one thing that make me feels unhappy with such new rules is due to the fact that a team can lose the momentum and make the games aren't so interesting anymore.
My issue was it still comes down to the refs decision. On a tiny screen.
In the VAR headquarters they had several expert ref's a debate. Huge screens multiple camera angles. Slow fast, stop start. etc.
Why not just let them say = no goal = Penalty = yellow card x player
Let the ref get on with the live job in hand.
