There are a lot of factors for an ICO's success and failure but most of the time the determining factor to its success is its campaign period where the ICO is establishing funds from its investors and I think the reason they fail in this part is because ICOs they didn't provide enough credibility and impact or their plan or project is has a lot of competition or just a plain failure.
