Ya. They will not need to pay recruitment agencies in this way because they can be hired through peers. They can work in their own prefered time, locations and job. I would love to be an independent service provider. I can be a freelancer accepting as much job as I want if I have a good trust ratings and a verified data.

Yeah being a Independent service provider who has a high rating on their digital portfolio good but it doesnt mean they will have a higher salary. Every requestor has different needs or service they need. Example for it is a carpenter even if they has a good ratings they will have an expected daily salary for their service while being a crane operator will have bigger salary expectations cauae it require some risk and more experience to fully control the machinery.
