Look into cognitive behavioural therapy. This is the best book for it: Overcoming Social Anxiety and Shyness: A Self-Help Guide Using Cognitive Behavioural Techniques by gillian Butler.

You can ask me more about it, I know a lot about mental illnesses because I find them interesting.
