That all seems a bit redundant, given that the blockchain is effectively backed up by all the nodes... I'd be more worried about making sure I had backups of wallet.dat than the blocks/chainstate.

But I guess if you don't have storage space issues then I guess it doesn't hurt to have 3 copies of the blockchain!!?!
