Some of you probably already realised this but, I have started bunching transactions for payments. This means fewer transactions per payment cycle which allows me to do bunch of stuff. Including checking if a transaction is mined into a block. This means payments are reflected to your account only when they are inside blockchain which should mean virtually no missing transactions.
A missed transaction is highly unlikely, transactions are only reflected in your accounts when the system confirms that transaction ID is existing in at least 1 block.
