Do not make the same mistakes you did when you stumbled upon bitcoins and never did anything to earn some. Either by investing or just by doing some jobs that pays bitcoins for salaries. That is great you appreciate the project. Fair Ninja has a fairly good concept. Originally designed to cater 2nd hand goods. I hope they are open to users suggestion. The Concept is really great and can be used in selling brand new items as well. I think this could also be used as guide by other online selling platform.
