Cryptocurrency is great but its not really all that unique. What Im trying to say is that whatever Bitcoin does that there are ways you can do that without having to make use of Bitcoin.
The only thing about Bitcoin is that it is anonymous (according to some people, it is pseudo anonymous) and you also dont need the help of anyone in putting transactions, you can do it all by yourself at your comfort and it is fast, though not the fastest, there are other methods with same rate of transaction speed.

Still, bitcoin must be a great invention. Probably you are missing out the very big thing of crypto world : decentralization. In my understanding, this decentralization alone making all the cryptos as a great invention and as per my knowledge no other things have arrived with decentralization before.
If OP is trying to innovate new methodologies for promoting bitcoin for making more people to know about it and its advantages then probably we are slowly moving in the direction. Definitely we need more full time start-ups to make bitcoin famous but unfortunately we are not having enough resources for making bitcoin intensely promoted.
